Great complementary breakfast and very nice rooftop terrace with beautiful city views. The hotel is in a convenient location for exploring the city, with many attractions just a short walk away.
The room was very small and cramped, with hardly any space to move around in. The noise from the nearby bars and party streets made it difficult to sleep at night, even with earplugs.

It is a very small hotel with tiny rooms, but you have everything you need in the room. TV, Aircondition, cheap minibar, private bathroom with shower. If you just need a place to sleep and no comfort, within a very busy neighborhood (plenty nightlife) then you should book this hotel.

Good location in noisy neighbourhood, very noisy bars in street behind building, but sound proofing on window was effective. Friendly staff. Good shower and bathroom. Great value for money for location, close to Taksim Square and the airport bus, and Istiklal St.
No light in main light fitting, in a dirty street, but hotel itself is good.

Location - in the very center of the city. The room was very noise since in partying area, but if you close the window the sound is drastically reduced. The room was clean, everything was functional.
Although our booking terms indicated that no deposit is charged prior to arrival, this hotel charged my card with double the amount prior to my arrival. When we arrived, the hotel owner was there - he did not offer any apology or anything, just explained that it is standard hotel procedure (why is there no indication of it on hotel page or in reservation terms??) and even went on to explain that he cancelled the reservation of one guest who was supposed to arrive that day because he did not have enough money on his credit card!!! Even showed us his reservation email with all the information, name, credit card, etc. Then I had 2 days of hassle with both him and my bank until it was resolved - he definitely was interested to have the matter sorted out, but then again he offered no apology or seemed to understand that he was in breach of reservation terms.

We loved the location of the hotel. Leaving your hotel, you find yourself in the middle of shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and clubs. The hotel is in between Nevizade and Istiklal Avenue which is the perfect location in Beyoglu for a hotel to be.
We stayed in double bed room. The room was very small, the bed was smaller than we expected. The bathroom was very small to fit inside as well. I can't say that the room was very clean, there were hair on the floor and on the bed, also bathroom was not hygienic. Overall, I don't believe the room and service are worth their price. There are many more hotel options with bigger and comfortable rooms in Beyoglu for the same price you pay for this hotel.

Very nice, friendly and helpful staff! Location is excellent close to Taksim and shopping street and Tunnel to Asian side. Lots of bars and restaurants surrounding the hotel and can hear the music at least on the rooms facing the street.

Friendly personnel
Middle of renovations, wifi not working, was moved from original room on 5th to 1st floor which had noise from both outside and reception, and unless you know Istanbul, difficult to find, even for taxi drivers (unless local).

The woman at the desk who worked there and the cleaning lady, it was clean and they were helpful and nice
When I first arrived they tried to push me in another room, bigger, twice as expensive. They then showed be a small single, but I had to wait 30 minutes because my room wasn't ready! The one I got was not as nice, first floor. The door fixture was not finished, broken cement and a few ants. Then the shower filled up with water so quickly, I could only do 2 minutes. The managerr? Tried to push paid tv down my throat. Didn't sleep first night because of clubs (nothing they can do) but inside the hotel hotel, receptionist talking to loudly. After I complained to manager I had to wait another night to move one floor up. I complained, rightly after all, and was able to get a free night. I then put the ac on and earplugs and slept the rest of the nights.

The staff is very kind and helpfull to give advice and suggestions. Rooms are renovated and they are clean. LCD TV with satellite channels, minibar, air-conditioned rooms and free Wi-Fi. It is very close to İstiklâl Caddesi. Tram and bus stations are within 5 minutes’ walking distance.
Some loud music from the clubs in the proximity.

We enjoyed our stay in Promise Hotel, Mr Mustapha and his assistance Mr Abdul Wahab were very helpful and they treat their guests as if you a part of a family .Excellent hospitality, Breakfast there needs more improvement. Good location so close to Istiklal Street. A lot of noise out side so street view is not recommended. In general we highly recommend this Hotel.. As for us our next visit to Istanbul ... definitely we will stay in promise hotel. Bassem ahmad
